The Rock of Roseville first went to Uganda to teach at a Bible College where we developed a strong friendship with Dr. David Omalla. Through Dr. David Omalla, we have developed a friendship with Cor and Grace (the Omalla’s Daughter) Koelewijn. We have since been back to Uganda many times ministering in various capacities such as preaching, ministering to the poor with medical aid and food, building a church, working at Cor’s school and facilitating leadership conferences. As a humanitarian effort we provided for the purchase of 21 acres of land, the digging of a water well, and the building of a medical clinic. We have also facilitated a three-month internship in Chawolo Village.
We believe that Dr. David & Zippora Omalla with Cor & Grace Koelewijn are strategy keys for the Lord to the people in Eastern Uganda and carry His heart for them. They exemplify faithfulness, humility and sacrificial service to the Lord. Our desire is to assist the Omalla’s and Koelewijn’s to fulfill the vision that God has given them.
Cor & Grace have recently opened a school for orphaned children in Uganda named “Heart For Children.” They are providing an incredible environment for these children to not only have good food, shelter, and education but a vibrant spiritual life as well.
