The last month for Drawn from Water has been very exciting, to say the least. We continue to be very grateful to our Rock Family for the prayer and financial support. In the last month we had three more rescue trips, giving us the latest additions, ten in all, to the Children’s Home. One of the little girls, we are pleased to announce, is being adopted by Lale, his wife Gito, and their daughter Regina. Little Edalawit is 10 months old and the details surrounding her adoption are nothing short of a miracle. To read more, click here.
We were also happy to welcome home Eric Dwyer and Preston Naramore from their three-month stay at the Children’s Home in Africa. Thanks guys for loving and taking care of these kids! For more info on their adventures, check out their personal facebook pages. In a few months the Baginski family (friends of Levi and Jessie) will be heading out to live in Africa. We are grateful to have them on board. We hope to be starting a building project soon, since we are in need for more space for all the new kids!
Finally, one huge praise report! We have been in a great need for a four-wheel drive vehicle to serve Drawn from Water, especially the rescues down in the tribes. This week and American business man, who was visiting Africa, made the $40,000 donation to provide us with the vehicle needed! We are so grateful!
